The cottages have been restored sympathetically, to retain their character and original features whilst also offering a high level of comfort.
The cottages are timber framed with stone frontages and hand made brick work in the interiors (bricks dating back to the 17th Century), all of which are exposed. The floors downstairs are oak (with rugs), there are quarry tiles in the kitchens, both have real fires (stoves) and all beds are hand made by a local metalwork craftsman.
Both cottages have modern kitchens, central heating, plentiful hot water, music systems, TV and DVD players and broadband internet access. They have enclosed, south facing sun terraces with relaxing garden furniture to unwind and watch the World go by.
